We have installed and commissioned two new PVC compounding lines at our Silverwater site. Lines 7 and 8 are Coperion Kombiplast systems, fed by Plasmec high-speed mixers. Both lines have now been comissioned and are operational!
Together with our existing lines, we can now produce up to 12 tonnes of PVC compound per hour. That is 120 tonnes in a single 10-hour shift, and Australia’s largest PVC compounding capacity.
What it means for you
Shorter lead times. More capacity means we can turn orders around faster.
Room for large and urgent orders. We can take on big volumes without pushing back anyone else’s.
The same compound, every batch. Our PLC Controlled batching & mixing systems ensure that every batch is weighed, and mixed, the same way
Any order size. From a 100 kg trial to 100 tonnes and more, from the same lines.
Made in Australia, for the long term
The McWilliam family has owned RBM since 1944, and five generations have now worked in the business. Lines 7 and 8 are our biggest investment in compounding to date. They are part of our commitment to secure, local supply of rigid and flexible PVC compound for Australian manufacturers.
